On Friday, Neuqua Valley won its 10th straight rivalry game over Waubonsie Valley 21-13 as senior Andy Barkley rushed for 194 yards and scored two touchdowns—senior Luke Hammond forced a late incompletion to end a comeback push.
Coach Bill Ellinghaus praised the team's unity while Waubonsie coach Adam Pucylowski said his team fought hard but struggled after early turnovers.
