Free Cone Day will return on March 20 at Dairy Queen, where customers can get one free small vanilla soft-serve cone with the iconic DQ curl—delivery and mobile orders are not included.

Tyreek Coleman led the Warriors to a record-breaking 31—3 season where he averaged 20.3 points, 4.7 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 2.3 steals and was named captain of the DuPage County All-Area boys basketball team for 2024—25.
Coach Andrew Schweitzer said Coleman became a local celebrity on the court and he will play for Illinois State next season.
Yesterday, local teams started spring sports with wins in softball, girls soccer and baseball.
St. Charles East won 7 to 1 with key home runs, St. Charles North kept a 3 to 0 shutout with a freshman scoring twice, and St. Francis beat West Chicago 11 to 4—other Kane County teams had mixed results.
