Ameren Illinois said its residential gas customers will see an average $3.65 increase on their bills in January after an ICC ruling cut proposed rate hikes for Ameren and Nicor—who serve 816,000 and 2.3 million customers.
The company said its use of underground storage fields helps lower supply costs—protecting customers during the winter months.
