Holiday events bring cheer to the region as Chicago’s official Christmas tree was lit on November 21 near Michigan Avenue and the Christkindlmarket opened in Aurora then on November 21.
Residents can celebrate today at the Mag Mile Lights Festival with a parade and fireworks, and upcoming events include ZooLights at Lincoln Park and Illumination at the Morton Arboretum continuing into January—festivities that offer many ways to enjoy the season.
