- ➤ The Glen House Food Pantry added an extra Thursday night shift since the start of the year to serve 367 new households amid a 30% federal cut in food funding—local pantries now face a 3 to 4 million dollar gap and plan to purchase up to 18 million dollars worth of food as part of their Hunger Action Month efforts. Fenton tied its record at 1—1 with an 18—13 win over Streamwood at Millennium Stadium while Glenbard South beat East Aurora and teams like West Chicago, Metea Valley, Montini, York, IC Catholic Prep, Aurora Central Catholic and Aurora Christian also won their matches.
