A Powerball ticket sold at Joe’s Tobacco & Vape in Aurora matched five numbers in Wednesday’s drawing to win $1 million, officials said.
The winning numbers were 3, 16, 29, 61 and 69, and the jackpot—now $1.7 billion—will be offered in the next drawing set for Saturday, Sept 6 at 9:59 p.m. CT.
On Wednesday, a $1 million Powerball ticket was sold at Joe’s Tobacco & Vape on W.
Galena Blvd in Aurora as the jackpot climbs to $1.7 billion, the third largest in U.S. history. A $50,000 ticket was also sold at BP Gas & Food and another $50,000 ticket was sold in Rock Falls, with the next drawing on Saturday night.
