The Broadway musical Mean Girls opened at the Paramount Theatre in downtown Aurora (Aug.
26) and runs through Oct. 11. Comedian Dylan Carlino will perform five adult-only shows at the Comedy Vault in Batavia (Aug. 27–29) as part of a busy weekend of regional arts.
🏥 Health
Illinois Department of Public Health announced that doctors may certify patients with polyendocrine metabolic ovarian syndrome and sickle cell disease for medical marijuana treatment plus relief from chronic pain.
Providers can now offer cannabis treatments, joining other qualifying conditions like endometriosis and IBS.
