- ➤ The Marmion Alumni Association is seeking more crafters and vendors for the 34th annual Marmion Christmas Craft Show held over Thanksgiving weekend. The juried event will be in Aurora at Regole Field House and Alumni Hall at Marmion Academy — it will run on Nov. 29 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Nov. 30 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., following a show last year that featured more than 240 participants and over 4,000 shoppers. GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Illinois Secretary of State Alexi Giannoulias said that Flock Safety violated state law by allowing Customs and Border Protection access to license plate data from cameras on Illinois roads—he ordered the company to shut off the federal access immediately. Flock Safety paused its pilot program with federal agencies and advised local police to review their data sharing agreements. NBC Chicago
