- ➤ Three Chicago high schools — Payton College Preparatory at No. 32, Northside College Preparatory at No. 40, and Lane Technical High School at No. 72 — made the top 100 best high schools in the country according to U.S. News & World Report. GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Gov. Pritzker signed a law that raises the age for driving tests for seniors—drivers 79 and older must renew licenses in person and those 87 and older must show they can drive safely—and commercial drivers must test at 75.
