- ➤ St. Charles-based McNally’s Heating and Cooling has teamed up with Lennox in the Feel the Love program to donate a free high-efficiency HVAC system to a local household in need. - ➤ On July 24, the Community Foundation of the Fox River Valley awarded 40 grants totaling over $535,000 to local nonprofits at Society 57 in Aurora — grants that will support programs to improve quality of life. Nine grants from its 2024-25 Youth Engagement in Philanthropy cohort ranged from $1,000 to $4,900 and 31 capital improvement grants ranged from $2,000 to $50,000 — showing significant community investment. - ➤ The Fox Valley Arts Hall of Fame will begin accepting nominations for its 2026 inductees on September 1 with entries due by November 1 and honorees announced at a news conference before being honored at a gala on March 27 at Eagle Brook Country Club in Geneva. The Hall of Fame honors local artists (including visual, literary, media, and performing artists, arts educators and benefactors) who have earned national acclaim (and must have completed 20 years in their field).
