Wesley United Methodist Church in Aurora is collecting new and slightly used backpack donations to support its warming center that once aided 174 winter guests—donations can be dropped off at 14 N.

Slick City will open a new indoor park in Orland Park at 66 Orland Square Dr — replacing Gizmo's Fun Factory — with attractions like the Fast Lane, Big Wave and Cowabunga slides as well as play equipment, sports air courts and laser tag.
The park will open in August or early fall and follows the North Aurora location that opened last fall.
