Yesterday, a pilot from Aurora Municipal Airport lost electrical power and communication systems during takeoff but safely landed the plane despite the landing gear not fully deploying—officials confirmed he is in good condition.

Fox Valley Orchestra will present a tribute concert to John Williams on Sunday, July 20 at 3 p.m. at Aurora University's Crimi Auditorium — volunteer musicians directed by Stephen Squires will perform movie scores including Raiders March, Jurassic Park, Harry Potter, E.T., Superman, The Cowboys, Schindler's List and Star Wars — with free parking for all attendees.
