Dozens of Chicago suburbs host parades and ceremonies to honor Memorial Day today.

Aurora will observe Memorial Day today with a parade starting at 10 a.m. at Benton Street and River Street featuring Grand Marshal Arlen Peterson (a U.S. Army veteran and cancer survivor) and local youth bands from area schools.
