- ➤ Orly KG left her public relations job to form Bad Momz of Comedy, a group of 90 mom comedians including Aurora native Mo Good, to offer humor that helps mothers cope with daily challenges. The group, which began three years ago at a suburban PTA meeting, will perform at Barrington Boat Company in Port Barrington on Saturday, May 17— giving busy moms a fun night out. Daily Herald

- ➤ Minooka defeated Timothy Christian 22-25, 25-17, 25-23 to win the Marmion Tournament championship on Saturday. Coach Mike Kargle said his team showed mental toughness in a three-set match as key plays helped seal their postseason boost. Kane County Chronicle
