ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ A 14-year-old boy from the Hinckley-Big Rock area fell 20-30 feet at around 5 p.m. Thursday in LaSalle Canyon at Starved Rock State Park and was rescued by boat and airlifted to Loyola Medical Center, where he is in stable condition. NBC Chicago
- ➤ A two-story building on Dearborn Avenue in Aurora that houses a mechanic shop and a residence became uninhabitable after a fire broke out at about 8:30 p.m. on April 17, according to Aurora Fire Department officials—one person was treated for minor smoke inhalation and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
