- ➤ A traffic stop in Sugar Grove Township on Friday near 4:30 p.m. led to the arrest of two Aurora men (23-year-old Tyree Pugh-Cox and 22-year-old Marquese Reed) after officers observed the exchange of a Draco AK-47 pistol and 168 grams of liquid codeine (an opioid controlled substance), with both now facing multiple felony charges. - ➤ Senior Juan Campos Jr. of Marmion Academy in Aurora earned the Global Seal of Biliteracy after scoring the highest level on his AP Spanish Language and Culture Exam—he is the first student at the school to receive this honor and his achievement opens up new academic and career opportunities. - ➤ Starting in one month, domestic flights and entry to certain federal facilities will require a Real ID that has a star in the right corner—Illinois residents not flying before May 7 can wait, as appointments at DMVs may be hard to get. The Secretary of State said DMVs will still offer Real IDs after May 7 and extended Real ID Saturdays until the end of May to increase availability. NBC Chicago
