Faith Lutheran Church in Aurora will host an Easter egg drop on Saturday, April 19 when a helicopter drops candy stuffed eggs around 11 a.m. for children up to 10 years old, and families must arrive by 10:45 a.m. with parking fees and shuttle buses available.
On March 26, 2025, a long line formed around noon at Jersey Mike's Subs in Geneva as the owners donated every dollar from sales to Cal’s Angels Pediatric Cancer Foundation (in St. Charles).

The Fox Valley Brass Band will join the Illinois Brass Band for a concert at 3 p.m. Sunday, March 30 at Wesley United Methodist Church at 14 N.
May St. in Aurora—tickets cost $15 or $12 for students and seniors with an added $1 fee and free parking available.

Aurora voters will decide their mayoral race on April 1 as Mayor Richard Irvin seeks a third term against Alderperson-at-Large John Laesch.
Other Illinois communities will vote on bond, tax and government structure issues while Wisconsin ballots include a Supreme Court seat and voter ID amendment — choices that may shape future policy — setting the stage for key statewide decisions.

As the fall season nears, five high school football players in the Kane County Chronicle area—Ryan Myers, Keaton Reinke, Jaylen Torres, Dane Turner, and Zach Washington—will be ones to watch in 2025 after strong performances last season.
