The Food and Drug Administration announced a recall of nearly 186,000 bags of oyster crackers sold at major retailers in Illinois and 23 other states after tests found possible stainless steel wire contamination — the recalled products are available at Walmart, Target and Giant Eagle. The recall was first issued in February and updated last week, and some products have sell or best by dates in May 2025.
