  • Kane police and the State’s Attorney’s Office are conducting a No-Refusal anti-DUI initiative starting 11 p.m. Saturday, March 15 until 3 a.m. Sunday, March 16 to compel chemical testing for suspected DUI drivers—this marks the 39th effort since 2008 as St. Patrick’s Day approaches on Monday, March 17.  Kane County Chronicle

  • Allison Albert, a business owner and educator (42) from Aurora, is running for a seat on the Indian Prairie Unit District 204 board (Vote for 4) to bring new ideas for improving school learning and closing achievement gaps.
