Dog Training Workshop

About this event

Dog Training Workshop: Introduction to Basic Nose Work

Nose work is a scent detection sport that allows your dog to use its natural scenting abilities to find hidden odors. This class introduces your dog to the art of “searching with purpose.” Odors used can be human odors (your odor) or competition odors (UKC Birch essential oil). Class will be taught to recreational standards and is not a competition nose work class. All ages, no prerequisite classes.

These fun, informative, and accessible workshops are great for brushing up on skills or exploring something new! Dogs of all ages and skill levels are welcome. They must be group-appropriate and comfortable working around other dogs and people. Presented by Katie Morgan, ABCDT, Forever K9 Training. Advance registration required at the Community Center or online at sycaparks.org. View the full fall workshop lineup at sycparks.org/dog-training.
