About this event

You hear them every holiday season, but do you know the “back stories” of your favorite secular Christmas songs? Charles Troy returns to Wednesdays @ One with a fascinating presentation on the creation of the most popular secular holiday songs. Many of them were written during the ten years following the unprecedented success in 1942 of White Christmas. Charles will illuminate these songs with stories of their composers and performers, augmented with entertaining audio and visual media.
